Hotel Des Augustins - Aix-en-Provence

The lobby is a visual treat with historical frescoes and a beautiful staircase that creates a distinct character. The location in the heart of the old city lets you dive right into local life with ease.

Noise can be an issue at night due to the lively student population. The rooms lack individuality and are quite basic. The mattresses are soft and thin, leading to a less than comfortable sleep. Parking is a hassle since there's no onsite availability, forcing you to trek a distance with luggage and navigate cobblestone streets.

The hotel used to be a church in the 12th century and it can be seen from its interesting architecture. The lobby is beautiful and the rooms were spacious and comfortable.

The ambiance is good, with a unique charm that resonates from the old monastery's architecture. Rooms boast high ceilings and exposed stone walls. A lovely terrace is a rarity and a stroke of luck to secure. The staff is cute, showcasing excellent service throughout the stay.

Hotel in the center. in the pedestrian zone... it's convenient.

Try to ask for personalized recommendations about the local area. The staff is very knowledgeable and eager to share hidden gems of Aix-en-Provence.

we were only there for a very short time so we didnt do any sight seeing as we have been there before a beautiful place and shall return at a later date.

In a former convent, historic atmosphere with all the contemporary convenience, welcoming and knowledgeable staff, very good breakfast, nice rooms, big bathtub, quiet and in the historic city

it was in an excellent and perfect location with a wide thoroughfare nearby. the staff was genuinely helpful all day long.

The hotel was stylish and fairly clean, well air-conditioned and large rooms. The location was excellent and good, you can visit La Rotonde by walking. The property was in a charming area, not far from Right off of the Main Street, the train station and Villeneuve-les-Avignon.

The location is unbeatable, just steps away from Cours Mirabeau and the heart of the old town, with lively streets bustling with cafes and shops. The decor in the lobby offers a charming glimpse of the building's historical roots, and the staff are helpful.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Hotel Des Augustin, the staff on both occasions were charming, helpful, the location is first rate as it is a few steps into the main shopping area of Aix, for a comfortable and relaxing stay I could not reccomend this hotel enough.

Excellent location - a few steps from the Cours. Very pleasant double room with two shuttered windows; spacious bathroom. Didn't try the breakfast.

Great stay with friends! Loved exploring the town and visiting the Grand Theater of Provence. The location is perfect, so we walked everywhere. The lobby stands out and the staff was super friendly. Rooms were clean and well-maintained.

The noise from the street was a bit much at night, which might disturb light sleepers.
